Use the Newest Civilian Access to Ft.
Carson! For Easy on/off access to Butts Army Air Field, Fort
Carson is opening up Gate 6 off of Highway 115. This
recently upgraded gate takes you directly to the paved
parking lots where parking is free! Busses will then
transport you directly to the Air Show Gates!
Gate 6 is on Highway 115, about 4.5 miles south of the
intersection of South Academy Blvd and Highway 115; and/or 2
miles south of Gate 1--the Main Gate to the Mountain Post.
Valid ID, Car Registration, and Car Insurance are
required to enter Fort Carson.
