If you have never been to a
REAL air show, you are in for a memorable time. If you have
been to an Air Show in the past, you will be thrilled by
the nationally recognized aerobatic
performers who are joining our show for
the first time. Be prepared to gasp at their gravity-defying antics and
graceful maneuvers. Active military
fighter jets will soar overhead ... and
there will be much more to see on the ground.

Aerobatic Performers
The 2010 In Their Honor Air Show will offer daily performances by
some of the most exciting aerobatic performers available,
including:
| Wings

12 parachutists will exit a
jump aircraft in 4 separate maneuvers with colored smoke. As
recent National Collegiate Parachuting Champions (
for the 28th time), you'll see the most accurate sky-diving in the

USAF fighter aircraft. Although it was designed primarily as an air superiority fighter,
it also is used for ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence roles. The Air Force considers
it critical part of the future of US air power. |
 |
| A-10 Thunderbolt II - provides close air support of ground forces by attacking tanks, armored vehicles, and other ground targets.
Designed for survivability, it incorporates a heavy automatic canon and over 1,200 pounds of armor which enable the aircraft to continue flying even after taking significant damage. |
 |
| C-17 Globemaster III - from Altus Air
Force base, you'll see a demonstration of this huge transport aircraft. It has the ability to rapidly deploy a combat unit to a potential battle area and sustain it with on-going
supplies, as well as perform medical and airdrop missions. |
 |
|

The C-17 will pair off with its former cousin, the C-47 in a heritage flight. Side-by-side, they will make passes along the flight line so you can compare
the two.
